Installation of the System Pressure Switch
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the main door of the main gear.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(8) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is in position below the location of the system pressure switch.
Subtask 29-32-12-865-056-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the main door of the main gear.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(8) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is in position below the location of the system pressure switch.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the System Pressure Switch
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Lubricate the new AIPC 29-32-03-01-070 O-RING (3) or AIPC 29-32-83-01-090 O-RING (3) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(4) Remove the blanking plugs from the ports of the manifold.
(5) Put the new O-ring (3) in position on the system pressure switch (2).
(6) Install the system pressure switch (2) in the manifold (4).
(7) TORQUE the system pressure switch (2) to between 3.45 and 3.20 m.daN (25.44 and 23.60 lbf.ft )

(9) Install the clamp (9), the bonding jumper (7), the screw (8), the washer (6) and the nut (5) at the system pressure switch (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector.
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the system pressure switch (2).
Subtask 29-32-12-865-053-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(6) Install the system pressure switch (2) in the manifold (4).
(7) TORQUE the system pressure switch (2) to between 3.45 and 3.20 m.daN (25.44 and 23.60 lbf.ft )
. WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(8) Safety the system pressure switch (2) with (9) Install the clamp (9), the bonding jumper (7), the screw (8), the washer (6) and the nut (5) at the system pressure switch (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector.
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the system pressure switch (2).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Leak Test of the Hydraulic Connections
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
(3) Examine the connection of the system pressure switch and make sure that there are no leaks.
(4) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
Subtask 29-32-12-710-050-A (1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
(3) Examine the connection of the system pressure switch and make sure that there are no leaks.
(4) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
D. Do the operational test of the hydraulic pressure indicating system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-00-710-001).
5. Close-upSubtask 29-32-12-860-052-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
