(2) Make sure that the attachment bracket (12) and blower housing (23) are in the same position as on the removed pump (3). If necessary, do the procedure that follows:
(a) For pumps with part numbers 518150 and 693335:
2 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
3 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
4 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22). TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.20 and 0.18 m.daN (17.70 and 15.93 lbf.in )

5 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
6 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
7 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.19 and 1.07 m.daN (105.31 and 94.69 lbf.in )

(b) For pumps with part number 974540:
1 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
2 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
3 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
d TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.78 and 0.69 m.daN (69.03 and 61.06 lbf.in )

4 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
5 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
6 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.13 and 1.07 m.daN (100.00 and 94.69 lbf.in )

(c) For pumps with part number 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 4205604:
2 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
3 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
4 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
d TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.308 and 0.252 m.daN (27.26 and 22.30 lbf.in )

5 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
6 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
7 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.19 and 1.08 m.daN (105.31 and 95.58 lbf.in )

(d) For the pumps with part number 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04 and 51154-05:
1 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
2 Remove the attachment bracket (12) and put it in the correct position.
3 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
4 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 0.81 and 0.54 m.daN (71.68 and 47.79 lbf.in )

(e) For pumps with part number 3022143-000:
1 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
2 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
3 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
d TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.78 and 0.69 m.daN (69.03 and 61.06 lbf.in )

4 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
5 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
6 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.19 and 1.07 m.daN (105.31 and 94.69 lbf.in )

(3) Make sure the replacement pump (3) is full with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(4) If necessary fill the pump (3) with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .

(2) Make sure that the attachment bracket (12) and blower housing (23) are in the same position as on the removed pump (3). If necessary, do the procedure that follows:
(a) For pumps with part numbers 518150 and 693335:

4 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 196BB is open.
(6) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is in position below the connections of the electric pump (3).
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(8) Make sure that you do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the engine pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-870-004).
Subtask 29-24-51-865-051-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panels of the Green and Yellow system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 196BB is open.
(6) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is in position below the connections of the electric pump (3).
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(8) Make sure that you do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the engine pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-870-004).

A. Preparation of the Replacement Component NOTE: The pump (3) and the attachment bracket (12) are a matched assembly. Always replace the pump and the attachment bracket as an assembly.
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.(2) Make sure that the attachment bracket (12) and blower housing (23) are in the same position as on the removed pump (3). If necessary, do the procedure that follows:
(a) For pumps with part numbers 518150 and 693335:

USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut and remove the lockwire. 2 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).

USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut and remove the lockwire. 2 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
3 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
4 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
d TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.308 and 0.252 m.daN (27.26 and 22.30 lbf.in )
. 5 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
6 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
7 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.19 and 1.08 m.daN (105.31 and 95.58 lbf.in )

8 Safety the bolts (8) with the (d) For the pumps with part number 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04 and 51154-05:
1 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
2 Remove the attachment bracket (12) and put it in the correct position.
3 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
4 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 0.81 and 0.54 m.daN (71.68 and 47.79 lbf.in )
. (e) For pumps with part number 3022143-000:
1 Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
2 Remove the attachment bracket (12).
3 If necessary, adjust blower housing (23):
a Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
b Turn the blower housing (23) to correct position.
c Loosely install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
d TORQUE the screws (22) to between 0.78 and 0.69 m.daN (69.03 and 61.06 lbf.in )
. 4 Put the attachment bracket (12) in the correct position.
5 Loosely install the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
6 TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 1.19 and 1.07 m.daN (105.31 and 94.69 lbf.in )
. (3) Make sure the replacement pump (3) is full with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(4) If necessary fill the pump (3) with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
NOTE: It is not permitted to use high-density fluid Skydrol 500B-4.
B. Installation of the Electric Pump
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the pump (3) into the correct position on the structure (11).
(4) Install the four bolts (15). Connect the bonding lead (13) at the same time.
(5) Install the new AIPC 29-13-03-07-060 NUTS (10) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-040 NUTS (10) and tighten them.
(7) Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic line-end fittings, and the blanking caps from the unions of the pump (3).
(8) If the unions (2), (7) and (18) were removed, do the steps that follow:
(a) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new AIPC 29-13-03-07-140 PACKING (28) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-160 PACKING (28) and the AIPC 29-13-03-07-130 UNION (2) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-150 UNION (2).
(b) Install the packing (28) on the union (2).
(c) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
(f) Install the packing (29) on the union (7).
(g) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
(j) Install the packing (30) on the union (18).
(k) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
(10) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the line end-fittings.
(11) Remove the blanking plug and connect the pressure pipe (19) to the union (18) on the outlet port of the pump (3). Make sure that the pipe is installed in the vertical position.

(13) Remove the blanking plug and connect the case drain pipe (6) to the pump (3).
(a) Make sure that the routing of the case drain pipe (6) is above the pressure pipe (19).
(b) TORQUE the case drain pipe (6) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
.
(c) Attach the case drain pipe (6) to the pressure pipe (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-14-910-001).
(d) Make sure that there is a minimum clearance of 12 mm (0.4724 in.) around the pressure pipe (19).
(14) Remove the blanking plug from the suction pipe (1).
(15) Connect the suction pipe (1) to the union (2) on the inlet port of the pump (3).
(16) TORQUE the suction pipe (1) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )

(17) Connect the seal drain pipe (16) on the pump (3).
(18) TORQUE the union (17) of the seal drain pipe (16) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
.
(19) Connect the air hose (5) to the pump (3) and install and tighten the clamp (4).
(20) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (14) and the electrical receptacle of the pump (3).
(21) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

Subtask 29-24-51-860-053-A WARNING:

CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS LUBRICANT.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the pump (3) into the correct position on the structure (11).
(4) Install the four bolts (15). Connect the bonding lead (13) at the same time.
(5) Install the new AIPC 29-13-03-07-060 NUTS (10) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-040 NUTS (10) and tighten them.
NOTE: If new nuts (10) are not available, use the removed nuts, but do not use the nuts (10) more than three times.
(6) If new nuts (10) are not available, do a breakaway torque check of each nut. The minimum breakaway torque value must be 0.04 m.daN (3.54 lbf.in). If the breakaway torque value is less than the limit, replace the nut(s). (7) Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic line-end fittings, and the blanking caps from the unions of the pump (3).
(8) If the unions (2), (7) and (18) were removed, do the steps that follow:
(a) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new AIPC 29-13-03-07-140 PACKING (28) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-160 PACKING (28) and the AIPC 29-13-03-07-130 UNION (2) or AIPC 29-13-83-09-150 UNION (2).
(b) Install the packing (28) on the union (2).
(c) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
- Install the union (2) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 10.70 and 9.70 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )

- Install the union (2) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 6.82 and 6.26 m.daN (50.29 and 46.17 lbf.ft )
.
(f) Install the packing (29) on the union (7).
(g) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
- Install the union (7) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 3.20 and 2.90 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

- Install the union (7) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 1.88 and 1.76 m.daN (13.86 and 12.98 lbf.ft )
.
(j) Install the packing (30) on the union (18).
(k) For the pumps with the part numbers 51154-02, 51154-03, 51154-04, 51154-05, 974540, 4205601, 4205602, 4205603 and 3022143-000:
- Install the union (18) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 5.90 and 5.40 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )

- Install the union (18) in the pump (3) and TORQUE to between 3.47 and 3.19 m.daN (25.59 and 23.53 lbf.ft )
.
(10) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the line end-fittings.
(11) Remove the blanking plug and connect the pressure pipe (19) to the union (18) on the outlet port of the pump (3). Make sure that the pipe is installed in the vertical position.
NOTE: The pressure pipe (19) points to the top of the hydraulic compartment.
(12) TORQUE the pressure pipe (19) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (13) Remove the blanking plug and connect the case drain pipe (6) to the pump (3).
(a) Make sure that the routing of the case drain pipe (6) is above the pressure pipe (19).
(b) TORQUE the case drain pipe (6) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (c) Attach the case drain pipe (6) to the pressure pipe (19) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-14-910-001).
(d) Make sure that there is a minimum clearance of 12 mm (0.4724 in.) around the pressure pipe (19).
(14) Remove the blanking plug from the suction pipe (1).
(15) Connect the suction pipe (1) to the union (2) on the inlet port of the pump (3).
(16) TORQUE the suction pipe (1) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )
. (17) Connect the seal drain pipe (16) on the pump (3).
(18) TORQUE the union (17) of the seal drain pipe (16) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
. (19) Connect the air hose (5) to the pump (3) and install and tighten the clamp (4).
(20) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (14) and the electrical receptacle of the pump (3).
(21) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

(22) Connect the electrical connector (14) and safety it with the lockwire, C. Preparation for the Test
(1) Do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the Yellow E-pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-870-006).
(2) Operate the flight control surfaces to bleed the Yellow hydraulic system downstream of the Yellow E-pump.
(3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) Energize the electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(5) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(6) On the ECAM control panel on the center pedestal, press the HYD pushbutton switch (P/BSW). Make sure that the HYD page is shown on the lower (system) display of the ECAM.
(7) Make sure that the ECAM does not show these conditions:
(9) If necessary, add fluid to the reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 29-24-51-865-052-A (1) Do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the Yellow E-pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-870-006).

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
