Subtask 29-24-51-020-051-B
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION: USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
A. Removal of the Electric Pump
NOTE: It is necessary for a second person to hold the pump (3) while you remove the nuts (10) and disconnect the electrical connector (14). The pump weighs approximately 15 kg (33 lb.).
NOTE: The pump (3) and the attachment bracket (12) are a matched assembly. Always replace the pump and the attachment bracket as an assembly.
   (1) Cut and discard the lockwire and disconnect the electrical connector (14) from the pump (3).
   (2) Remove the clamp (4) and disconnect the air hose (5) from the pump (3).
   (3) Loosen the union nut and disconnect the suction pipe (1) from the pump (3).
   (4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (5) Loosen the union nut and disconnect the case drain pipe (6) from the pump (3).
   (6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (7) Loosen the union nut and disconnect the pressure pipe (19) from the pump (3).
   (8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (9) Loosen the union nut and disconnect the seal drain pipe (16) from the pump (3).
   (10) If necessary, remove the unions:
