A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

B. Make sure that the access panel 197EB is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-22-12-420-052-A

A. Installation of the RAT Ground Control Unit
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the bonding strap (7) with the screw (5) and the washer (6) on the RAT ground control unit (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (4) and the receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the electrical connector (4) to the receptacle.
(7) Apply a layer of the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the contact surface of the RAT ground control unit (3).
(8) Install and align the RAT ground control unit (3) in the Blue ground service panel (1).
(9) Apply the zinc chromate putty Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads of the screws (2).
(10) Install and tighten the screws (2).
(11) Remove the unwanted sealant from around the edges of the RAT ground control unit.
(12) Make the remaining sealant smooth, then apply the Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) to protect it.
