A. Safety Precautions

WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1) You must obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002) when you do work on the hydraulic system.
(2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is in position.
(4) Make sure that the access panel 674AB is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-13-52-420-055-B

A. Preparation for Installation

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Engine Pump Fire-Valve Actuator Assembly

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ACTUATOR AND THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE TOUCH ACROSS THEIR FULL SURFACES AND CORRECTLY CONNECT WITH :

THE DRIVE SHAFT OF THE ACTUATOR ENGAGED IN THE COUPLING OF THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE
THE DOWEL PIN IN THE ADAPTOR PLATE ENGAGED WITH THE HOLE IN THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY.

(1) Remove the blanking covers from the actuator (1) and the adaptor plate (5).
(2) Align the actuator (1) with the pin (6), and put the actuator (1) in postion on the adaptor plate (5).
(3) Make sure that the drive shaft of the actuator engages the engine pump fire-valve correctly.
(4) Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (3), and install the new O-rings (2) onto the screws (4).
(5) Position the clamp halves (3), and (7) on the actuator assembly (1), and adaptor plate (5). Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (7).
(6) Put the bonding lead (9) in position on the actuator (1), and secure with the screw (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (8).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Pressurize the Applicable Hydraulic System

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(1) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).

E. Test
(1) Do a functional test of the engine pump fire-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-720-001).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
