A. Safety Precautions

WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1) You must obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002) when you work on the hydraulic system.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.

B. Depressurize the Applicable Hydraulic System

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position, below zone 674.
(2) Remove the access panel 674AB.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-13-52-020-051-B

A. Removal of the Engine Pump Fire-Valve Actuator
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8).
(2) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connections.
(3) Remove the screw (10) and disconnect the bonding lead (9) from the actuator (1).
(4) Loosen the screws (4) sufficiently to remove the clamp halves (3) and (7) from the actuator (1).
(5) Remove and discard the O-rings (2).
(6) Remove the actuator (1), from the adaptor plate (5).
(7) Put blanking covers on the openings of the adaptor plate (5), and the actuator (1).
