B. Safety Precautions
(1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(4) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
Subtask 29-13-51-865-088-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate this pushbutton switch.
- On the HYD section of panel 40VU
- On access door 198CB, on the ground-service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(4) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

E. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 29-13-51-010-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). F. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right thrust-reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

Subtask 29-13-51-420-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Solenoid Valve of the Engine Pumps P/N 3031863-001 and P/N 3031863-002
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the shipping cover from the new solenoid valve (4).
(4) Make sure that the packings and the backup rings are correctly installed in the solenoid valve grooves.
(5) Lightly lubricate the packings and the backup rings of the solenoid valve (4) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(6) Remove the COVER - BLANKING, HYDRAULIC RESISTANT from the port of the engine pump (1).
(7) Installation of the solenoid valve (4) to the engine pump (1)
(b) Carefully put the solenoid valve (4) in the vertical position to the mounting surface and move it down into the pump bore.
(c) Make sure that you do not cause damage to the packings and the backup rings during the installation.
(d) Carefully turn the solenoid valve (4) to align the mounting hole with the bolt holes in the engine pump (1).
(8) Install the bolts (3).
(9) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 50 and 40 lbf.in (0.57 and 0.45 m.daN )

(10) Connection of the IDG-EDP-MON harness (3030GD-A)
(b) Make sure that the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) is clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) to the solenoid valve (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-40-400-801).
Subtask 29-13-51-420-076-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO LIQUIDS, DUST OR CONTAMINANTS ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(a) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the engine pump (1). (b) Carefully put the solenoid valve (4) in the vertical position to the mounting surface and move it down into the pump bore.
(c) Make sure that you do not cause damage to the packings and the backup rings during the installation.
(d) Carefully turn the solenoid valve (4) to align the mounting hole with the bolt holes in the engine pump (1).
(8) Install the bolts (3).
(9) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 50 and 40 lbf.in (0.57 and 0.45 m.daN )
. (10) Connection of the IDG-EDP-MON harness (3030GD-A)
CAUTION:
DO NOT TWIST OR BEND THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HARNESS AND THUS CAUSE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT DEFECTS.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU CONNECT THEM. SOLID AND/OR LIQUID CONTAMINATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS.
(a) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2). (b) Make sure that the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) is clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) to the solenoid valve (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-40-400-801).

(b) Make sure that the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) is clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) to the solenoid valve (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-40-400-801).

CAUTION:
DO NOT USE HIGH-DENSITY FLUID SKYDROL 500B-4 FOR A320NEO FAMILY. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
(a) Lightly lubricate the packings and the backup rings of the solenoid valve (4) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .(6) Remove the COVER - BLANKING, HYDRAULIC RESISTANT from the port of the engine pump (1).
(7) Installation of the solenoid valve (4) to the engine pump (1)
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO LIQUIDS, DUST OR CONTAMINANTS ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

(a) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2). (b) Make sure that the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) is clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Connect the IDG-EDP-MON harness (2) to the solenoid valve (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-40-400-801).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test(s)
(1) Do a check of the reservoir fluid level (Ref. AMM TASK 29-30-00-200-002). Fill the reservoir, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(2) Do the operational test of the engine pump depressurization (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-710-004).
(a) Make sure that there is no leakage from the solenoid valve interface.
(3) Do a check of the reservoir fluid level again (Ref. AMM TASK 29-30-00-200-002). Fill the reservoir, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
5. Close-up(1) Do a check of the reservoir fluid level (Ref. AMM TASK 29-30-00-200-002). Fill the reservoir, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(2) Do the operational test of the engine pump depressurization (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-710-004).
(a) Make sure that there is no leakage from the solenoid valve interface.
(3) Do a check of the reservoir fluid level again (Ref. AMM TASK 29-30-00-200-002). Fill the reservoir, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the right thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
