B. Safety Precautions
(1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(4) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
Subtask 29-13-51-010-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate this pushbutton switch.
- On the HYD section of panel 40VU
- On access door 198CB, on the ground-service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(4) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
C. Get Access

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 29-13-51-010-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). E. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right thrust-reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

F. Make sure that you removed the Engine Driven Hydraulic-Pump (EDP) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-51-000-806).
4. ProcedureSubtask 29-13-51-420-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Engine Driven Hydraulic-Pump (EDP) Heat Shield Assembly
(1) Removal of the protection covers
(2) Install the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1).
(a) Install the forward bracket (4) on the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1) with the two bolts (7) and the two washers (6).
(b) Install the aft bracket (5) on the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1) with the two bolts (7) and the two washers (6).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 90 and 81 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.92 m.daN )

(d) Application of the anti-seize compound
(e) Put the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1), the forward bracket (4) and the aft bracket (5) in position on the accessory gearbox.
(f) Install the forward bracket (4) and the aft bracket (5) on the accessory gearbox. Use the four bolts (3) and the four washers (2).
(g) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 70 and 63 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.71 m.daN )
.
5. Close-up(1) Removal of the protection covers
CAUTION:
REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
(a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. (2) Install the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1).
(a) Install the forward bracket (4) on the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1) with the two bolts (7) and the two washers (6).
(b) Install the aft bracket (5) on the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1) with the two bolts (7) and the two washers (6).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 90 and 81 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.92 m.daN )
. (d) Application of the anti-seize compound
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
1 Apply anti-seize compound (Material No.PU5-0005) to the threads of the bolts (3). (e) Put the hydraulic EDP heat shield (1), the forward bracket (4) and the aft bracket (5) in position on the accessory gearbox.
(f) Install the forward bracket (4) and the aft bracket (5) on the accessory gearbox. Use the four bolts (3) and the four washers (2).
(g) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 70 and 63 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.71 m.daN )
