A. Safety Precautions

WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1) You must obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002) when you do work on the hydraulic system.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S)S in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green and Yellow Hydraulic systems.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Disconnect the Isolation Coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Depressurize the Green and the Yellow Hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Depressurize the applicable hydraulic reservoirs (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below zone 674.
(2) Open the access panel 674AB.
(3) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the compensated slide (1).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below zone 674.
(2) Remove the access panel 674AB.
(3) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the compensated slide (1).

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-13-47-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Compensated Slide

WARNING: DO NOT GET THE FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU DO:

FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER
GET MEDICAL AID.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.

(1) Hold the nut (4) and disconnect the nut (5).
(2) Hold the fire shut-off valve (3) and disconnect the nut (2).
(3) Compress and remove the compensated slide (1).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
