Removal of the Blue Hydraulic Reservoir
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(4) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Drain the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-680-003).
(7) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the reservoir.
Subtask 29-12-41-010-050-A 4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(4) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Drain the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-680-003).
(7) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the reservoir.
Subtask 29-12-41-020-054-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Reservoir
(2) Install a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors and on the electrical receptacles on the reservoir (19).
(3) Remove the nut (20), the bolt (15) and the washer (18) and disconnect the bonding jumpers (16),(17) from the reservoir (19).
(4) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (25) and disconnect the air pipe (24) from the union (26).
(5) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (2) and disconnect the air bleed pipe (1) from the reducer (3).
(6) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (13) and disconnect the seal drain connection (14) from the pressure relief valve (12).
(7) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (43) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the reservoir (19).
(8) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (45) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the T-piece (46).
(9) Remove the suction pipe (44).
(10) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (42) and disconnect the return pipe (41) from the reservoir (19).
(11) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (40) and disconnect the return pipe (41) at the filter (2002GM).
(12) Remove the return pipe (41) from the aircraft.
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (48) and disconnect the drain pipe (47) from the reservoir (19).
(14) Cut and remove the lockwire from the two strap bolts (51).
(15) Hold the reservoir (19) and loosen the two reservoir strap bolts (51).
(16) Disconnect the ends of the reservoir straps (50) and remove the reservoir (19) from the aircraft.
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in all open pipe ends, the union (26), the tee-fitting (5) and in the reservoir ports.
Subtask 29-12-41-020-054-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (52),(49),(21),(28). (2) Install a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors and on the electrical receptacles on the reservoir (19).
(3) Remove the nut (20), the bolt (15) and the washer (18) and disconnect the bonding jumpers (16),(17) from the reservoir (19).
(4) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (25) and disconnect the air pipe (24) from the union (26).
(5) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (2) and disconnect the air bleed pipe (1) from the reducer (3).
(6) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (13) and disconnect the seal drain connection (14) from the pressure relief valve (12).
(7) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (43) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the reservoir (19).
(8) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (45) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the T-piece (46).
(9) Remove the suction pipe (44).
(10) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (42) and disconnect the return pipe (41) from the reservoir (19).
(11) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (40) and disconnect the return pipe (41) at the filter (2002GM).
(12) Remove the return pipe (41) from the aircraft.
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (48) and disconnect the drain pipe (47) from the reservoir (19).
(14) Cut and remove the lockwire from the two strap bolts (51).
(15) Hold the reservoir (19) and loosen the two reservoir strap bolts (51).
(16) Disconnect the ends of the reservoir straps (50) and remove the reservoir (19) from the aircraft.
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in all open pipe ends, the union (26), the tee-fitting (5) and in the reservoir ports.
A. Removal of the Reservoir
(2) Install a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors and on the electrical receptacles on the reservoir (19).
(3) Remove the nut (20), the bolt (15) and the washer (18) and disconnect the bonding jumpers (16),(17) from the reservoir (19).
(4) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (25) and disconnect the air pipe (24) from the union (26).
(5) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (2) and disconnect the air bleed pipe (1) from the reducer (3).
(6) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (13) and disconnect the seal drain connection (14) from the pressure relief valve (12).
(7) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (43) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the reservoir (19).
(8) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (45) and disconnect the suction pipe (44) from the T-piece (46).
(9) Remove the suction pipe (44).
(10) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (42) and disconnect the return pipe (41) from the reservoir (19).
(11) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (40) and disconnect the return pipe (41) at the filter (2002GM).
(12) Remove the return pipe (41) from the aircraft.
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (48) and disconnect the drain pipe (47) from the reservoir (19).
(14) Cut and remove the lockwire from the two strap bolts (51).
(15) Hold the reservoir (19) and loosen the two reservoir strap bolts (51).
(16) Disconnect the ends of the reservoir straps (50) and remove the reservoir (19) from the aircraft.
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in all open pipe ends, the union (26), the tee-fitting (5) and in the reservoir ports.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.

(9) Remove the suction pipe (44).
(10) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (42) and disconnect the return pipe (41) from the reservoir (19).
(11) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (40) and disconnect the return pipe (41) at the filter (2002GM).
(12) Remove the return pipe (41) from the aircraft.
(13) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (48) and disconnect the drain pipe (47) from the reservoir (19).
(14) Cut and remove the lockwire from the two strap bolts (51).
(15) Hold the reservoir (19) and loosen the two reservoir strap bolts (51).
(16) Disconnect the ends of the reservoir straps (50) and remove the reservoir (19) from the aircraft.
(17) Install a PLUG - BLANKING in all open pipe ends, the union (26), the tee-fitting (5) and in the reservoir ports.
