A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the access door 195BB is open.
(5) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the HP manifold.
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
Subtask 29-12-36-865-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the access door 195BB is open.
(5) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the HP manifold.
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Switch Manifold
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(4) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the line ends.
(5) Engage the switch manifold (3) on the HP manifold (7) and hand tighten the end fitting (8).
(6) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the end fittings (2) and (9).
(7) Engage the pipes (1) and (10) to the switch manifold (3).
(8) Hold the switch manifold (3) in position.
(9) TORQUE the end fittings (2) and (9) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )

(10) Hold the switch manifold (3) in position.
(11) TORQUE the end fitting (8) to between 8.31 and 7.5 m.daN (61.28 and 55.31 lbf.ft )
.
(12) Lubricate the new AIPC 29-12-03-12-070 O-RING (4) or AIPC 29-12-83-04-170 O-RING (4) with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(13) Put the O-ring (4) in position on the pressure switch (5).
(14) Install the pressure switch (5) on the switch manifold (3).
(15) TORQUE the pressure switch (5) to between 3.470 and 3.186 m.daN (25.59 and 23.50 lbf.ft )

(16) Safety the pressure switch (5) with the lockwire14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(17) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (6).
(18) Make sure that the electrical connector is clean and in the correct condition.
(19) Install the electrical connector (6) on the pressure switch (5).
Subtask 29-12-36-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS LUBRICANT.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(4) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the line ends.
(5) Engage the switch manifold (3) on the HP manifold (7) and hand tighten the end fitting (8).
(6) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the end fittings (2) and (9).
(7) Engage the pipes (1) and (10) to the switch manifold (3).
(8) Hold the switch manifold (3) in position.
(9) TORQUE the end fittings (2) and (9) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (10) Hold the switch manifold (3) in position.
(11) TORQUE the end fitting (8) to between 8.31 and 7.5 m.daN (61.28 and 55.31 lbf.ft )
. (12) Lubricate the new AIPC 29-12-03-12-070 O-RING (4) or AIPC 29-12-83-04-170 O-RING (4) with the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(13) Put the O-ring (4) in position on the pressure switch (5).
(14) Install the pressure switch (5) on the switch manifold (3).
(15) TORQUE the pressure switch (5) to between 3.470 and 3.186 m.daN (25.59 and 23.50 lbf.ft )
. (16) Safety the pressure switch (5) with the lockwire
(17) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (6).
(18) Make sure that the electrical connector is clean and in the correct condition.
(19) Install the electrical connector (6) on the pressure switch (5).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Make sure that the level of fluid in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(3) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Examine the connections of the switch manifold (3) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
5. Close-up(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Make sure that the level of fluid in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(3) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Examine the connections of the switch manifold (3) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
