Installation of the Priority Valve of the Blue Hydraulic System
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the access panel 195BB is open.
(5) Make sure that the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) is in position below the HP manifold.
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
Subtask 29-12-33-865-051-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the access panel 195BB is open.
(5) Make sure that the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) is in position below the HP manifold.
(6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 29-12-33-560-050-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the HP manifold and the priority valve (1).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new:
(4) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-170 SQUARE-SECTION SEALS (6) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(5) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-150 BACK-UP RINGS (8) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(6) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-140 O-RINGS (4) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(7) Install the two bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
Subtask 29-12-33-420-050-A (1) Remove the blanking plugs from the HP manifold and the priority valve (1).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new:
- Back-up rings (8) and (7)
- O-rings (4) and
- Square-section seals (6).
(4) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-170 SQUARE-SECTION SEALS (6) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(5) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-150 BACK-UP RINGS (8) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(6) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-140 O-RINGS (4) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(7) Install the two bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
B. Installation of the Priority Valve
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the priority valve (1) on the manifold.
(4) Install the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 0.90 and 0.80 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )

Subtask 29-12-33-790-050-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(3) Install the priority valve (1) on the manifold.
(4) Install the bolts (2) and the washers (3).

(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Remove the warning notices from the cockpit and the ground service panel.
(4) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(5) Examine the connection of the priority valve (1) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(6) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
5. Close-up(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Remove the warning notices from the cockpit and the ground service panel.
(4) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(5) Examine the connection of the priority valve (1) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(6) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the access panel 195BB.
