Removal of the Electric Pump Pressure-Switch

WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:

In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
On the ground service panel of the Blue system.

(5) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT in position below the pressure switch to collect hydraulic fluid.

C. Open the access panel 195BB.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-12-17-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Electric Pump Pressure Switch
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Cut and remove the lockwire.
(4) Loosen the pressure switch (2) and remove it together with the O-ring (3) from the T-fitting (4).
(5) Discard the O-ring.
(6) Install the PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports.

A. Removal of the Electric Pump Pressure-Switch

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Cut and remove the lockwire.
(4) Loosen the pressure switch (3) and remove it together with the O-ring (2) from the switch manifold (1).
(5) Discard the O-ring (2).
(6) Install the PLUG - BLANKING in the open ports.
