CAUTION: MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 29-12-15-860-051-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle (20XG) (receptacle behind the access door 121AL).
   (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
   (3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
  • APU GEN,
  • 1 BAT 2,
  • GEN1, GEN2,
  • EXT PWR.
   (4) In the cockpit, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches is (are) in position on these overhead panels:
  • 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR),
  • 25VU (APU),
  • 35VU (ELEC).
   (5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the access door 822.
   (6) Make sure that the access door 822 is open.
4. Procedure
Subtask 29-12-15-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Current Transformer
   (1) Engage the electrical wires (4) in their passages in the transformer (8).
   (2) Install the transformer (8) on its mount.
   (3) Install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
   (4) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.28 and 0.22 m.daN (24.78 and 19.47 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) Connect the electrical wires (4) to the contactor (10).
   (6) Install the washers (12) and the nuts (11).
   (7) Install the clamp (5) on its mount with the washer (6) and the screw (7).
   (8) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (9).
   (9) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the transformer (8).

C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

D. Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the transformer (Ref. AMM TASK 29-12-00-710-002).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Close Access
   (1) Install the access cover (1) on the panel 107VU.
   (2) Close the access door 822.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
