A. Cleaning of the Engine Pump Solenoid-Valve
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Put a CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the hydraulic connections of the engine pump to collect the remaining fluid.
   (4) Remove the engine pump solenoid-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-51-000-803).
   (5) Flush the bore.
     (a) Flush the bore of the solenoid valve (1) many times with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
   (6) Dry the bore of the solenoid valve (1) with a clean BLOWING EQUIPMENT - DRY AIR.
   (7) Ultrasonic cleaning
     (a) Fill the CLEANING EQUIPMENT - ULTRASONIC with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) to the level given in the manufacturer's handbook.
     (b) Carefully put the solenoid valve into a basket, then put the basket fully into the liquid. Do not put the electrical connector into the liquid.
     (c) Start the CLEANING EQUIPMENT - ULTRASONIC and let it operate for ten minutes.
   (8) Dry all the solenoid valve components with the clean BLOWING EQUIPMENT - DRY AIR.
   (9) Examine the components after the cleaning to make sure that the valve body (3) ports C, P and R and the valve spool (2) are clean.
   (10) Install the engine pump solenoid-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-51-400-803).
