B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(7) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position at the low pressure filter-assembly.
(8) Put a CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) below the low pressure filter-assembly to collect all the hydraulic fluid.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.

A. Removal of the Low Pressure Filter-Assembly (1002GM)
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Disconnect the bonding strap (6):
(4) Loosen the pipe end-fitting (11) and disconnect the pipe (12) from the union (10).
(5) Loosen the coupling nut (1) and disconnect it from the union (2).
(6) Hold the low pressure filter-assembly (13) and remove the three bolts (14) and the washers (15).
(7) Remove the low pressure filter-assembly (13) from the bracket (16).
(8) Put a PLUG - BLANKING on each disconnected pipe end and each open port of the low pressure filter-assembly.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (7) from the temperature transmitter (8). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Disconnect the bonding strap (6):
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(a) Remove the nut (4) and the washer (5) and disconnect the bonding strap (6) from the temperature transmitter (8).
