A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
  • in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
  • on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
   (3) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (5) Make sure that the main doors of the main gear are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the main doors of the main gear.
   (7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (8) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is below the reservoir.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-11-41-420-052-A
A. Installation of the Low Level Switch
   (1) Remove the blanking plug from the reservoir (1).
   (2) Lubricate the new AIPC 29-11-41-01-020 O-RING (7) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
   (3) Put the O-ring (7) in position on the low level switch (8).
   (4) Put the low level switch (8) in position in the reservoir (1).
   (5) Install the bolts (10) and the washers (9).
   (6) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (11) and from the receptacle.
   (7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (8) Connect the electrical connector (11).

   (1) Do the operational test of the fluid low-level warning system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-31-00-710-001).
NOTE: Do only the steps of the test applicable for the Green hydraulic system.

E. Leak Test of the Hydraulic Connections
   (1) Examine the connection of the low level switch (8) and the reservoir (1).
   (2) Make sure that there are no leaks.

F. Bleeding Procedure
   (1) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
   (2) Keep the system pressurized for 5 minutes to bleed the Green hydraulic system .
   (3) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001).
5. Close-up
Subtask 29-11-41-860-060-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Make sure that the level of fluid in the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
   (2) Connect the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
   (3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (5) Remove the container.
   (6) Remove the access platform(s).
   (7) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (9) Close the main doors of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
