Installation of the Accumulator-Air Pressure Gage
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the left main door of the main gear is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the left door of the main gear.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
Subtask 29-11-21-865-051-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the left main door of the main gear is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the left door of the main gear.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Pressure Gage
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from the pressure gage (2) and the adapter (4).
(4) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the pressure gage connection.
(5) Install the pressure gage (2) on the adapter (4).

(7) Safety the nut with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).

NOTE: Make sure that you can clearly read the pressure gage when it is installed.
(6) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 1.65 and 1.54 m.daN (12.17 and 11.36 lbf.ft )
. (7) Safety the nut with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
B. Preparation for Test
(1) Fill the accumulator with nitrogen (Ref. AMM TASK 12-14-29-614-001).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(5) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
Subtask 29-11-21-790-050-A (1) Fill the accumulator with nitrogen (Ref. AMM TASK 12-14-29-614-001).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(5) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
C. Test
(1) Apply Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the connection of the pressure gage (2) and the adapter (4) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(2) Make sure that the pressure gage (2) shows 3000 +100 -100 psi.
5. Close-up(1) Apply Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the connection of the pressure gage (2) and the adapter (4) and make sure that there are no leaks.

Subtask 29-11-21-860-055-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the left main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
Subtask 29-11-21-865-052-A (1) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the left main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
