Removal of the Engine-Pump Pressure Switch
WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS FOR A SHORT TIME AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS STAY HOT FOR SOME TIME AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- on the ground service panel 197CB.
B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the suction-hose adapter connection to the hydraulic pump.
Subtask 29-11-17-865-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
- put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit, on the HYD overhead panel 40VU.
- make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the suction-hose adapter connection to the hydraulic pump.
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1) Open the left fan cowl door :
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
open the door 437AL (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the engine.
4. Procedure(1) Open the left fan cowl door :

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the engine.

A. Removal of the Engine-Pump Pressure Switch
(1) Remove the engine-pump pressure switch.
PRE SB RA32029-13
(a) Disconnect electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (3).
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the pressure switch (3).
(c) Remove the bolt (12), washers (7), (8) and (11), and nut (6) from the bonding clamp (9).
(d) Remove the bonding jumper (10) and bonding clamp (9) from the pressure switch (3).
(e) Disconnect the hydraulic tube (5) from the pressure switch (3).
1 Hold the pressure switch (3) with a second WRENCH - STANDARD when you loosen the coupling nut on the tube.
(f) Remove the two bolts (1) and the clamp (2) from the pressure switch (3).
(g) Remove the pressure switch (3) from the engine.
(h) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the pressure switch and on the hydraulic tube (5).

(2) Remove the engine-pump pressure switch.
POST SB RA32029-13
(a) Disconnect electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (4).
(b) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the pressure switch (4).
(c) Remove the bolt (13), washers (9), (10) and (12), and nut (8) from the bonding clamp (11).
(d) Remove the bonding jumper (7) and bonding clamp (11) from the pressure switch (4).
(e) Remove the two bolts (1), washers (2) and clamp (3) from pressure switch (4).
(f) Remove the bonding jumper (7) from the pressure switch (4).
(g) Disconnect the hydraulic tube (5) from the pressure switch (4).
1 Hold the pressure switch (4) with a second WRENCH - STANDARD when you loosen the coupling nut on the tube.
(h) Remove the pressure switch (4) from the engine.
(i) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the pressure switch (4) and on the hydraulic tube (5).

(3) Remove the engine pump pressure switch.
POST SB RA32029-15 or POST SB RA32029-16
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (20).
(b) Put COVER - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the switch (20).
(c) Remove the bolt (5), the washer (10) and the clamp (15) from the pressure switch (20).
(e) Put COVER - BLANKING on the switch (20) and the adapter (30).

(1) Remove the engine-pump pressure switch.
PRE SB RA32029-13
(a) Disconnect electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (3).
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the pressure switch (3).
(c) Remove the bolt (12), washers (7), (8) and (11), and nut (6) from the bonding clamp (9).
(d) Remove the bonding jumper (10) and bonding clamp (9) from the pressure switch (3).
(e) Disconnect the hydraulic tube (5) from the pressure switch (3).
1 Hold the pressure switch (3) with a second WRENCH - STANDARD when you loosen the coupling nut on the tube.
(f) Remove the two bolts (1) and the clamp (2) from the pressure switch (3).
(g) Remove the pressure switch (3) from the engine.
(h) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the pressure switch and on the hydraulic tube (5).

(2) Remove the engine-pump pressure switch.
POST SB RA32029-13
(a) Disconnect electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (4).
(b) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the pressure switch (4).
(c) Remove the bolt (13), washers (9), (10) and (12), and nut (8) from the bonding clamp (11).
(d) Remove the bonding jumper (7) and bonding clamp (11) from the pressure switch (4).
(e) Remove the two bolts (1), washers (2) and clamp (3) from pressure switch (4).
(f) Remove the bonding jumper (7) from the pressure switch (4).
(g) Disconnect the hydraulic tube (5) from the pressure switch (4).
1 Hold the pressure switch (4) with a second WRENCH - STANDARD when you loosen the coupling nut on the tube.
(h) Remove the pressure switch (4) from the engine.
(i) Put the COVER - BLANKING on the pressure switch (4) and on the hydraulic tube (5).

(3) Remove the engine pump pressure switch.
POST SB RA32029-15 or POST SB RA32029-16
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector 1074GK-A from the pressure switch (20).
(b) Put COVER - BLANKING on the electrical connector and on the switch (20).
(c) Remove the bolt (5), the washer (10) and the clamp (15) from the pressure switch (20).
NOTE: Use a second WRENCH - STANDARD to hold the adapter (30) when you loosen the pressure switch (20).
(d) Remove the pressure switch (20) and packing (25) from the adapter (30). Discard the packing (25). (e) Put COVER - BLANKING on the switch (20) and the adapter (30).
