A. Reactivation of the Case Drain Filter (2084GM)
(1) Do the trouble-shooting of the system to find the cause of the clogged filter and do the applicable corrective actions.
(2) Remove and discard the lockwire between the filter bowl (3) and the filter head (1).
(3) Remove the filter bowl (3).
(4) Make sure that the O-ring (4) is correctly installed on the new AIPC 29-12-43-01-020 FILTER ELEMENT (2).
(6) Do a check of the filter element (2) and make sure that it is clean and not damaged.
(7) Put the filter element (2) together with the O-ring (4) in position in the filter bowl (3).
(8) Install the filter bowl (3) together with the filter element (2) in the filter head (1).
(9) Tighten the filter bowl (3) with your hands.
(10) Safety the filter bowl (3) to the filter head (1) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel, dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(11) If the red clogging indicator is out, push it in to set it again.
