Check Reservoir Air Pressure on Reservoir Gauge
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
NOTE: Do this check directly after shut-down of the bleed-air pressurization system (engines and APU).
NOTE: Is not permitted to operate the hydraulic systems during this check.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems, but not the reservoirs (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
Subtask 29-10-00-865-056-A (1) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems, but not the reservoirs (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
- In the flight compartment on hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panels of the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems.

A. Do a Check of the Air Pressure in the Hydraulic Reservoirs
(1) After shut-down of the bleed-air pressurization system:
(a) Read and note the reservoir fill levels from the reservoir fill gauges (1), (2) and (3).
(2) Three hours after shut-down of the bleed-air pressurization system:
(a) Read the pressure gages (4), (5) and (6) (1383GM, 2383GM, 3383GM). Make sure that the pressure values are not less than 35 psi (2.4132 bar).
(b) Read the reservoir fill levels from the reservoir fill gauges (1), (2) and (3). Make sure that the reservoir fill level has not decreased by more than 0.6 l (0.1585 USgal).
(3) If the pressure or the fill level in a reservoir is not in the given limit, continue as follows:
(a) Use the oxygen leak detector, Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) , and do a leak check.
(b) Do the applicable correction procedures for the leaks that you find.
(c) Pressurize the reservoirs (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
5. Close-up(1) After shut-down of the bleed-air pressurization system:
(a) Read and note the reservoir fill levels from the reservoir fill gauges (1), (2) and (3).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the door of the main landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Close access doors 196BB 197FB.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
