Removal of the Temperature Sensor
WARNING:

- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Safety Precautions
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
Subtask 28-46-17-650-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank. (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel 540NB (640NB).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel 540NB (640NB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002):
(a) FOR [30QJ1] (SENSOR-TEMP, LEFT WING TK OUTER CHANNEL A)
remove 540NB
(b) FOR [30QJ2] (SENSOR-TEMP, RIGHT WING TK OUTER CHANNEL A)
remove 640NB.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel 540NB (640NB).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel 540NB (640NB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002):
(a) FOR [30QJ1] (SENSOR-TEMP, LEFT WING TK OUTER CHANNEL A)
remove 540NB
(b) FOR [30QJ2] (SENSOR-TEMP, RIGHT WING TK OUTER CHANNEL A)
remove 640NB.
Subtask 28-46-17-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Temperature Sensor 30QJ1 (30QJ2)
(1) Loosen the cable clamp screw (9) and release the cable (1).
(2) Loosen the electrical connector screws (4) and (5) and remove the cable (1).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the bolts (3) and (6) and the washers (2) and (7). Remove the sensor (8).
(1) Loosen the cable clamp screw (9) and release the cable (1).
(2) Loosen the electrical connector screws (4) and (5) and remove the cable (1).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the bolts (3) and (6) and the washers (2) and (7). Remove the sensor (8).
