WARNING: BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(2) Remove the applicable access panel 540AB (640AB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001):
(a) FOR [29QJ1] (SENSOR-TEMP, LEFT WING TK INNER CHANNEL A or SENSOR-TEMP, LEFT WING TK INNER CHANNEL A)
remove 540AB
(b) FOR [29QJ2] (SENSOR-TEMP, RIGHT WING TK INNER CHANNEL A or SENSOR-TEMP, RIGHT WING TK INNER CHANNEL A)
remove 640AB.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-46-17-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Temperature Sensor 29QJ1 (29QJ2)
(1) Loosen the cable clamp screw (9) and release the cable (1).
(2) Loosen the electrical connector screws (4) and (5) and remove the cable (1).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the bolts (3) and (6) and the washers (2) and (7). Remove the sensor (8) from the support bracket assembly.
