A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position under the applicable Magnetic-Level-Indicator (MLI) rod.
4. Procedure
Subtask 28-43-21-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Rod 104QM thru 111QM
   (1) Push the (MLI) rod (2) in against the spring (4) and turn it through 90 deg. to release.
   (2) Pull the MLI rod (2) out until the magnet (1) touches the seal (3). Continue to pull until the MLI rod is out of the housing.
Subtask 28-43-21-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Rod 106QM thru 111QM
   (1) Push the (MLI) rod (2) in against the spring (4) and turn it through 90 deg. to release.
   (2) Pull the MLI rod (2) out until the magnet (1) touches the seal (3). Continue to pull until the MLI rod is out of the housing.
