A. Safety Precautions

WARNING: BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the access panel 640AB.
(2) Remove the access panel 640AB, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-42-48-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Ultracomp (52QT)
(1) Remove the nuts (6), (7), (8), (10) and (11) and the washers (4), (5), (9), (12) and (13).
(2) Remove the connectors of the electrical cables (1), (2), (3), (14) and (15) from the ultracomp (19).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the bolts (18) and the washers (17).
(5) Remove the dualcomp (19).
