A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the access door 811.
   (3) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.

A. Installation of the FQIC OBRM (3QT1)

F Fuel Quantity Indicating Computer (FQIC) with On Board Removable Memory (OBRM) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
NOTE: If the standard of the OBRM has changed, refer to SB A320-28-1046.
   (1) Install the OBRM module (7).
   (2) Tighten the screws (6) on the front of the FQIC (3QT).

B. Installation of the FQIC (3QT)
   (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) Install the FQIC (4) in its rack (2).
   (3) Connect the FQIC (4) to the electrical connector (1).
   (4) Attach the FQIC (4) to its rack (2) with the knurled nuts (3).

D. BITE test
   (1) Do a BITE test of the FQIC (3QT) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-00-740-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-00-740-001):
     (a) Supply electrical power to the FQIC for a minimum period of one minute.
     (b) If the fault messages "NO DATA FROM ADIRU 1(2)" and/or "NO DATA FROM CFDIU" are shown on the LAST LEG REPORT page, ignore them. To clear these fault messages, do a simulation of flight, with the aircraft on the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001) two times:
       1 On the MCDU, on the landing gear page, it is necessary to push the line key adjacent to the UPLOCKED indication (not the EXTENDED indication).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the access door 811.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
