(2) Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 28-42-15-420-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .

(a) Install the bracket (13) on the probe (11).
(b) Put the probe (11) in the correct position and loosely install the bolts (12), the bolts (10) and the washers (9).
1 Make sure that the clearance is a minimum of 10.0 mm (0.3937 in.).
2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Tighten the bolts (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolts (10) and (12).
(g) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(h) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (8) with the screws (3), (4) and (5).
(i) TORQUE the screws (3), (4) and (5) as follows:

(k) Install the AIPC 28-42-05-20-010 CABLE-TIES (1), as necessary, to attach the cable (8) to the probe (11).
(2) Installation of the probe 92QT1(2):
(b) Put the probe (35) in the correct position and loosely install the bolts (36) and the nuts (38).
(c) Loosely install the bolts (33) and the washers (32).
1 Make sure that the clearance is a minimum of 10.0 mm (0.3937 in.).
2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) Tighten the bolts (36) and the nuts (38) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(g) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolts (33) and (36).
(h) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(i) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (27) to the temperature sensor (31) with the screws (30) and (34).
(j) TORQUE the screws (30) to between .124 and .102 m.daN (10.97 and 9.03 lbf.in )

(k) TORQUE the screws (34) to between .226 and .203 m.daN (20.00 and 17.96 lbf.in )
.
(l) Put the cable (27) in position under the clamp block (28).
(m) TORQUE the clamp screw (29) to between .045 and .023 m.daN (3.98 and 2.04 lbf.in )

(n) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (27) with the screws (22), (23) and (24).
(o) TORQUE the screws (22), (23) and (24) as follows:

(q) Install the AIPC 28-42-05-20-010 CABLE TIES (20), as necessary, to attach the cable (27) to the probe (35).
(3) Installation of the probe 23QT1(2), 56QT1(2), 25QT1(2), 26QT1(2), 27QT1(2), 28QT1(2), 29QT1(2), 30QT1(2), 31QT1(2), 32QT1(2), 34QT1(2):
1 Make sure that the clearance is a minimum of 10.0 mm (0.3937 in.).
2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolt (46).
(e) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(f) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (54) with the screws (49), (50) and (51).
(g) TORQUE the screws (49), (50) and (51) as follows:

(i) Install the AIPC 28-42-05-20-010 CABLE TIES (45), as necessary, to attach the cable (54) to the probe (55).
(4) Installation of the probe 93QT1(2):
1 Make sure that the clearance is a minimum of 10.0 mm (0.3937 in.).
2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolts (60) and (72).
(e) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(f) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (69) to the temperature sensor (75) with the screws (74) and (76).
(g) TORQUE the screw (74) to between .124 and .102 m.daN (10.97 and 9.03 lbf.in )

(h) TORQUE the screw (76) to between .226 and .203 m.daN (20.00 and 17.96 lbf.in )

(i) Put the cable (69) in position under the clamp block (70).
(j) TORQUE the clamp screw (71) to between .045 and .023 m.daN (3.98 and 2.04 lbf.in )

(k) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (69) with the screws (64), (65) and (66).
(l) TORQUE the screws (64), (65) and (66) as follows:

(n) Install the AIPC 28-42-05-20-010 CABLE TIES (62), as necessary, to attach the cable (69) to the probe (77).
5. Close-upCAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Installation of the probe 21QT1(2): (a) Install the bracket (13) on the probe (11).
(b) Put the probe (11) in the correct position and loosely install the bolts (12), the bolts (10) and the washers (9).
WARNING:
THIS INSTRUCTION IS APPLICABLE TO A CRITICAL DESIGN CONFIGURATION CONTROL LIMITATION (CDCCL) ITEM. CAREFULLY OBEY ALL GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU DO THIS STEP. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, A DANGEROUS CONDITION CAN OCCUR THAT CAN CAUSE A POSSIBLE FUEL TANK EXPLOSION.
(c) Measure the clearance between the structure and the top and bottom of the probe (11). 1 Make sure that the clearance is a minimum of 10.0 mm (0.3937 in.).
2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
- The nearest structure
- Rib and tank wall
- Pipework
- Brackets and p-clips
- Fasteners and other metal parts.
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802). (e) Tighten the bolts (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolts (10) and (12).
(g) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(h) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (8) with the screws (3), (4) and (5).
(i) TORQUE the screws (3), (4) and (5) as follows:
- The screw (3) to between .124 and .102 m.daN (10.97 and 9.03 lbf.in )

- The screw (4) to between .226 and .203 m.daN (20.00 and 17.96 lbf.in )

(a) Install the bracket (37) on the probe (35). (b) Put the probe (35) in the correct position and loosely install the bolts (36) and the nuts (38).
(c) Loosely install the bolts (33) and the washers (32).

2 To prevent possible static discharge, make sure that the fuel probe is not less than 6.0 mm (0.2362 in.) from:
- The nearest structure
- Rib and tank wall
- Pipework
- Brackets and p-clips
- Fasteners and other metal parts.
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802). (f) Tighten the bolts (36) and the nuts (38) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(g) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the ends of the bolts (33) and (36).
(h) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(i) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (27) to the temperature sensor (31) with the screws (30) and (34).
(j) TORQUE the screws (30) to between .124 and .102 m.daN (10.97 and 9.03 lbf.in )
. (k) TORQUE the screws (34) to between .226 and .203 m.daN (20.00 and 17.96 lbf.in )
. (l) Put the cable (27) in position under the clamp block (28).
(m) TORQUE the clamp screw (29) to between .045 and .023 m.daN (3.98 and 2.04 lbf.in )
. (n) Identify and connect the electrical connectors of the cable (27) with the screws (22), (23) and (24).
(o) TORQUE the screws (22), (23) and (24) as follows:
- The screw (22) to between .124 and .102 m.daN (10.97 and 9.03 lbf.in )

- The screw (23) to between .226 and .203 m.daN (20.00 and 17.96 lbf.in )

- The screw (24) to between .362 and .316 m.daN (32.04 and 27.96 lbf.in )

. (q) Install the AIPC 28-42-05-20-010 CABLE TIES (20), as necessary, to attach the cable (27) to the probe (35).
(3) Installation of the probe 23QT1(2), 56QT1(2), 25QT1(2), 26QT1(2), 27QT1(2), 28QT1(2), 29QT1(2), 30QT1(2), 31QT1(2), 32QT1(2), 34QT1(2):
