WARNING:

A. Safety Precautions
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.
Subtask 28-42-15-650-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank. (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

D. Get Access
(2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the applicable MLG door actuator(s).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel 147AZ (148AZ).
(4) Remove the applicable access panel 147AZ and/or 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
4. ProcedureWARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR ARE CLEAR.
(1) Open the applicable MLG door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001). (2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the applicable MLG door actuator(s).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel 147AZ (148AZ).
(4) Remove the applicable access panel 147AZ and/or 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).

A. Removal of the Center-Tank-Fuel-Quantity-Probes
(4) Carefully move the probe (2) out of the top support tube (1) and remove the probe (2) from the tank.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Cut the cable ties (7) and (8). Remove all the cut cable ties from the tank and discard. CAUTION:
DO NOT PULL THE WIRE WHEN YOU DISCONNECT AN ELECTRICAL CABLE. YOU MUST ONLY PULL THE PLASTIC HOUSING TO REMOVE THE CONNECTION. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLES.
(2) Disconnect the electrical cables (3) from the probe (2) and put CAP - BLANKING on the electrical cables (3). NOTE: Probe 39QT also has CIC connections.
(3) Hold the probe (2) and remove the bolts (4) and the washers (5) and, for probes 35QT and 36QT, the nuts (6). (4) Carefully move the probe (2) out of the top support tube (1) and remove the probe (2) from the tank.
