   (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do an IR alignment (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001), then:
     (a) On the ECAM control panel (CP), push (in) the FUEL pushbutton switch (P/BSW).
     (b) Make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower display-unit (DU).
     (c) On the ECAM CP, push (in) the STS P/BSW.
     (d) Make sure that the STATUS page shows on the ECAM lower DU.
     (e) Make sure that there are no FUEL messages under MAINTENANCE.
Subtask 28-42-00-650-056-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Fuel Configuration
   (1) Refuel the fuel tanks as follows (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003):
  • the wing tank to 1000 kg (2204.6220 lb) minimum
  • the center tank to 1500 kg (3306.9330 lb) minimum.

C. Fuel Configuration
   (1) Refuel the fuel tanks as follows (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003):
  • the applicable wing tank to 1500 kg (3306.9330 lb) minimum
  • the center tank to 2000 kg (4409.2440 lb) minimum.

   (1) Do this test:
NOTE: When you push (in) the line key adjacent to FUEL> indication, the Multipurpose Display and Control Unit (MCDU) can initially show CH1 or CH2.

1.On the MCDU, get access to the FUEL page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
The MCDU shows the CH1 (CH2) FUEL menu.
2.Push (in) the NEXT PAGE key.
The second FUEL menu page is shown.
3.Push (in) the line key adjacent to <FQIS STATUS indication.
The MCDU shows:
CH1 GRADE1 CH2 GRADE1

NO FAULTS DETECTED.
4.Push (in) the line key adjacent to <RETURN indication two times.
The MCDU shows the CH1 (CH2) FUEL menu.
5.Push (in) the line key adjacent to SELECT CHANNEL 2 (1).
The MCDU shows the CH2 (CH1) FUEL menu.
6.Push (in) the line key adjacent to <FQIS STATUS indication.
The MCDU shows:
CH1 GRADE1 CH2 GRADE1

NO FAULTS DETECTED.
7.Push (in) the line key adjacent to <RETURN indication two times.
The MCDU shows the CH1 (CH2) FUEL menu.
8.Push the line key <RETURN frequently until the CFDS menu page is shown.

A. System Report (BITE)
   (1) Do this test:
NOTE: When you push (in) the line key adjacent to FUEL> indication, the Multipurpose Display and Control Unit (MCDU) will initially show the master channel. The master channel can be either CH1 or CH2.

   (1) Set the upper and lower display BRT switches, on the ECAM CP, to OFF.
   (2) Set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches of the IR1, IR2 and IR3, on the cockpit overhead panel, to OFF.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits

   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
