A. Safety Precautions
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the bleed air.
Subtask 28-40-00-010-058-A WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the bleed air.
B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 522(622).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-003):

(2) Remove the applicable access panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-003):
- for the LH LP valve 12QM, remove panel 522AT
- for the RH LP valve 13QM, remove panel 622AT.
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that there is no bleed air.
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(4) Install a 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION in position on the flap/slat control lever.
Subtask 28-40-00-865-057-A (1) Make sure that there is no bleed air.
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(4) Install a 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION in position on the flap/slat control lever.

- make sure that the see/feel indicator marks are accurately aligned in the valve open position

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Fully retract the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005):
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the LH/RH or both engine LP valve indication(s) will not be displayed on the ECAM DU.
Subtask 28-40-00-410-056-A (1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Fully retract the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005):
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the LH/RH or both engine LP valve indication(s) will not be displayed on the ECAM DU.
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable access panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-003):

- for the LH LP valve 12QM, install 522AT
- for the RH LP valve 13QM, install 622AT.
C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
