A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) When you do maintenance work on the fuel system you must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(3) On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the MLG door.

- on the FUEL panel 40VU, to tell persons not to operate the fuel system,
- on the APU FIRE panel 20VU, to tell persons not to operate the fire extinguishing system.
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the MLG door.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the LP Valve Actuator P/N A08000
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the adaptor (7) in position on the mounting studs.
(5) Connect the bonding strap (5) to the mounting stud.
(6) Install the washers (4) and the self-locking nuts (3) on the mounting studs.
(7) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (3) to between 0.8 and 0.7 m.daN (70.80 and 61.95 lbf.in )

(8) Put the actuator (1) and the clamp (6) in position on the adaptor (7).
(9) TORQUE the nuts of the clamp (6) to between 0.143 and 0.117 m.daN (12.65 and 10.35 lbf.in )
.
(10) Connect the bonding strap (5) to the actuator (1) and install the screw (8).
(11) Do the electrical bonding on the adaptor (7) and on the actuator (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(12) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 28-29-51-865-052-A (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(6) Install the washers (4) and the self-locking nuts (3) on the mounting studs.
(7) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (3) to between 0.8 and 0.7 m.daN (70.80 and 61.95 lbf.in )
. (8) Put the actuator (1) and the clamp (6) in position on the adaptor (7).
(9) TORQUE the nuts of the clamp (6) to between 0.143 and 0.117 m.daN (12.65 and 10.35 lbf.in )
. (10) Connect the bonding strap (5) to the actuator (1) and install the screw (8).
(11) Do the electrical bonding on the adaptor (7) and on the actuator (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(12) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(13) Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the actuator (1). B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
