A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
Subtask 28-28-56-010-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
- the refuel/defuel panel 801VU,
- the fuel panel 40VU,
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the aft cargo-compartment.
(3) Make sure that the ceiling panel 151BC is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
Subtask 28-28-56-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the aft cargo-compartment.
(3) Make sure that the ceiling panel 151BC is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 28-28-56-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Actuator of the ACT Air Shut-Off Valve
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Apply a thin layer of Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) on the new AIPC 28-28-36-01-030 O-RING (5).
(5) Put the O-ring (5) in the groove of the air shut-off valve (4).
(6) Put the actuator (2) in the correct installation position on the air shut-off valve (4).
(7) Install the V-clamp (3) on the base of the actuator (2) and the air shut-off valve (4).
(8) Close the V-clamp (3) and tighten the screw (6).
(9) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle (7).
Subtask 28-28-56-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(5) Put the O-ring (5) in the groove of the air shut-off valve (4).
(6) Put the actuator (2) in the correct installation position on the air shut-off valve (4).
(7) Install the V-clamp (3) on the base of the actuator (2) and the air shut-off valve (4).
(8) Close the V-clamp (3) and tighten the screw (6).
(9) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle (7).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) Do the Operational Test of the ACT Automatic Transfer System (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-00-710-004).

Subtask 28-28-56-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Install the ceiling panel 151BC in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002).
(2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
Subtask 28-28-56-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the ceiling panel 151BC in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002).
(2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
