A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position:
Subtask 28-28-56-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position:
- Refuel/defuel panel 801VU
- Fuel panel 40VU
- ACT control panel 28VU
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) Remove cargo ceiling panel 151BC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) Remove cargo ceiling panel 151BC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
Subtask 28-28-56-020-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Actuator from the ACT Air Shutoff-Valve
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Loosen the screw (2):
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (6).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) from the ACT air shutoff-valve-actuator (3). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Loosen the screw (2):
- Open and remove the V-clamp (5) from the ACT air shutoff-valve-actuator (3).
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (6).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
