A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
Subtask 28-28-55-010-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
- the refuel/defuel panel 801VU,
- the fuel panel 40VU,
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the integrated impact wall is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the integrated impact wall is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-001), to get access to the actuator of the ACT2.
(2) Make sure that the ACT2 is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001), to get access to the actuator of the ACT1.
Subtask 28-28-55-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the integrated impact wall is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-001), to get access to the actuator of the ACT2.
(2) Make sure that the ACT2 is removed from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001), to get access to the actuator of the ACT1.
C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 28-28-55-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Actuator of the ACT Vent Shut-off Valve
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the actuator (1) in the correct installation position on the vent shut-off valve (4).
(4) Make sure that the pin (7) is correctly aligned on the receptacles of the vent shut-off valve (4) and actuator (1).
(6) Close the V-clamp (2) and tighten the screw (3).
(7) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (5) and the receptacle (6).
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the receptacle (6).
Subtask 28-28-55-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the actuator (1) in the correct installation position on the vent shut-off valve (4).
(4) Make sure that the pin (7) is correctly aligned on the receptacles of the vent shut-off valve (4) and actuator (1).
NOTE: A wrong alignment of the actuator causes fault symptoms on the ACT system.
(5) Install the clamp (3) on the base of the actuator and the vent shut-off valve (4). (6) Close the V-clamp (2) and tighten the screw (3).
(7) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (5) and the receptacle (6).
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the receptacle (6).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Install the ACT2 in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(2) Install the integrated impact wall in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-400-001).
Subtask 28-28-55-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the ACT2 in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(2) Install the integrated impact wall in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-400-001).
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
