A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) On refuel/defuel control panels 801VU and 800VU, fuel control panel 40VU and ACT control panel 28VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
Subtask 28-28-54-865-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) On refuel/defuel control panels 801VU and 800VU, fuel control panel 40VU and ACT control panel 28VU:

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below aft cargo compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) FOR [94QH1] (ACTUATOR-FUEL INLET VALVE, ACT1)
(a) Remove the Additional Center Tank (ACT) AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003).
(5) FOR [94QH2] (ACTUATOR-FUEL INLET VALVE, ACT2)
(a) Remove the integrated impact wall from the ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below aft cargo compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) FOR [94QH1] (ACTUATOR-FUEL INLET VALVE, ACT1)
(a) Remove the Additional Center Tank (ACT) AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003).
(5) FOR [94QH2] (ACTUATOR-FUEL INLET VALVE, ACT2)
(a) Remove the integrated impact wall from the ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-002).

A. Removal of the ACT Fuel Inlet-Valve-Actuator
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Loosen the screw (3), then open and remove the V-clamp (2) from the ACT fuel inlet-valve-actuator (1).
(3) Remove the ACT fuel inlet-valve-actuator (1) from the ACT fuel inlet valve (4).
NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for each fuel inlet valve-actuator.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors: CAUTION:
TO PREVENT POSSIBLE CROSS-CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MAKE SURE THAT PLUGS AND RECEPTACLES ARE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Put the identification marks on the electrical connectors (5) and receptacles (6) before you disconnect them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure. CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE COMPONENT DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO COMPONENT.
(b) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) from the receptacles (6). (c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Loosen the screw (3), then open and remove the V-clamp (2) from the ACT fuel inlet-valve-actuator (1).
(3) Remove the ACT fuel inlet-valve-actuator (1) from the ACT fuel inlet valve (4).
