A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
Subtask 28-28-43-010-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
- the refuel/defuel panel 801VU,
- the fuel panel 40VU,
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment.
(3) In the aft cargo-compartment, make sure that the ceiling panel 151BC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
Subtask 28-28-43-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment.
(3) In the aft cargo-compartment, make sure that the ceiling panel 151BC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).

Subtask 28-28-43-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Check Valve
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the check valve (4) in position.
(5) Install the union nut (3) on the check valve (4).
(6) Install the union nut (5) of the T-pipe section (6) on the check valve (4).
(7) If removed, install the test coupling (1) to the T-pipe section (6).
Subtask 28-28-43-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the check valve (4) in position.
(5) Install the union nut (3) on the check valve (4).
(6) Install the union nut (5) of the T-pipe section (6) on the check valve (4).
(7) If removed, install the test coupling (1) to the T-pipe section (6).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Do the Operational Test of the ACT Automatic Transfer System (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-00-710-004).

A. Close Access
(1) In the aft cargo-compartment, install the ceiling panel 151BC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002).
(2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
Subtask 28-28-43-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) In the aft cargo-compartment, install the ceiling panel 151BC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002).
(2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
