3. Job Set-up
Subtask 28-28-42-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). .
   (2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (3) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (4) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the AFT cargo compartment door.
   (5) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on
  • The refuel/defuel panel 801VU
  • The fuel panel 40VU
  • The ACT control panel 28VU
    To tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
   (6) Remove the ceiling panel 151BC in the AFT cargo compartment. (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002)

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-28-42-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Pressure Reducing Valve
   (1) Loosen the union nuts (4), (5) and (7) from the pressure reducing valve (6).
   (2) Remove the nuts (9), the washers (8) and the bolts (3) from the valve bracket (2).
   (3) Remove the pressure reducing valve (6) from the support bracket (1).
   (4) Put CAP - BLANKING on the line ends and the ports of the pressure reducing valve.
