A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Obey the fuel safety procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position on the panels that follow:
  • Refuel/defuel panel 801VU
  • Fuel panel 28VU and 40VU
    to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo compartment.
   (3) Make sure that cargo ceiling panel 151BC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-28-38-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the ACT Pressurization Check-Valve
   (1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Put the check valve (4) in position.
   (5) Install the union nut (2) on the check valve (4).
   (6) Install the union nut (5) of the T-pipe section (6) on the check valve (4).
   (7) Install the test coupling (1) to the T-pipe section (6).

B. Test
   (1) Do the Operational Test of the ACT automatic transfer-system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-00-710-004).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
   (1) In the aft cargo compartment, install cargo ceiling panel 151BC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002).
   (2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
Subtask 28-28-38-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
