A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:

(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:
- the refuel/defuel panel 801VU,
- the fuel panel 40VU,
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the Actuator of the Air Shut-Off Valve is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-56-000-001).

A. Installation of the Air Shut-Off Valve
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the air shut-off valve (1) in position so that the studs (4) go through the attachment bracket (8).
(5) Install the nuts (6) and washers (7) on the studs (4).
(6) Install the union nut (3) on the port (2) of the air shut-off valve (1).
(7) Install the union nut (5) on the port (9) of the air shut-off valve (1).
5. Close-up(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the air shut-off valve (1) in position so that the studs (4) go through the attachment bracket (8).
(5) Install the nuts (6) and washers (7) on the studs (4).
(6) Install the union nut (3) on the port (2) of the air shut-off valve (1).
(7) Install the union nut (5) on the port (9) of the air shut-off valve (1).
NOTE: The test of the valve is given after the installation of the actuator of the air shut-off valve.

A. Close Access
(1) Install the Actuator of the Air Shut-Off Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-56-400-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
