A. Preparation for the Test
NOTE: If you do the leak test on the ACT FWD, you must open the vent isolation valve of the ACT FWD before you do the test.
   (1) On the ACT FWD, open the vent isolation valve (232QM) manually:
     (a) Remove the actuator of the vent isolation valve (93QH) from the ACT FWD (Ref. AMM D/O 28-28-57-00).
     (b) Open the vent isolation valve with a screwdriver.
     (c) Make sure that the position of the indicator of the vent isolation valve is in the open position (in line).

B. Leak Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the air compressed source:
  • Carefully pressurize the bladder of the ACT to 200 mbar (2.90 psi).
NOTE: Make sure that the air pressure is not more than 275 mbar (3.99 psi).
On the pressure gauge:
  • The air pressure in the bladder increases to 200 mbar (2.90 psi).
2.On the air compressed source:
  • Stop the ground air supply.
On the pressure gauge:
  • Make sure that the air pressure in the bladder is stable for 15 minutes.
3.Apply a soap solution or a leak detection spray on the inner manhole cover of the ACT.
Make sure that there are no leaks on the inner manhole cover.
NOTE: If you find a leak, check the correct installation of the inner manhole cover and do the leak test again.
4.On the air compressed source:
  • Carefully release the air pressure from the bladder of the ACT.
On the pressure gauge:
  • The air pressure in the bladder decreases to 0 mbar (0.00 psi).
5. Close-up
Subtask 28-28-00-410-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the system back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Close the Vent Valve of the ACT (167QM) manually:
     (a) Close the Vent Valve with a screwdriver.
     (b) Make sure that the position indicator of the Vent Valve is in the closed position (cross line).
   (5) Install the Actuator of ACT Vent Valve (4QH) on the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-28-55-400-001).
