A. Read CFDIU Display for Faults

ACTION	RESULT
1.Adjust the brightness of Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU) 1 (2).	MCDU 1(2) is on.
2.On MCDU 1(2): Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	On MCDU 1(2): The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
3.On MCDU 1(2): Push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.	On MCDU 1(2): The Centralized Fault Display(CFDS) MENU page comes into view.
4.On MCDU 1(2): Push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.	On MCDU 1(2): The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes into view.
5.On MCDU 1(2): Push the line select key 4L adjacent to the AFMS indication.	On MCDU 1(2): The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/AFMS page comes into view.
6.On MCDU 1(2): Push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.	On MCDU 1(2): The page with the AFMS failure messages comes into view from the POWER ON tests.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
