A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4) On the ECAM control panel, push the FUEL pushbutton switch:
(a) On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU), the FUEL page comes into view.
(b) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in the ACT is 250 kg (551 lb).
(c) Make sure that the fuel quantity in the center tank is less than 5000 kg (11023 lb).
(5) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door for access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(6) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the left MLG bay.
(7) If applicable, in the cockpit, on refuel control-panel 51VU:
(a) Push the pushbutton switch PWR (23QU) to ON (cockpit refuel select).
(b) Make sure that the ON legend in the pushbutton switch comes on.
(c) Make sure that the FAULT legend in the pushbutton switch is off.
(8) Do the test of the high-level sensing system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-00-710-001).
Subtask 28-28-00-860-190-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4) On the ECAM control panel, push the FUEL pushbutton switch:
(a) On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU), the FUEL page comes into view.
(b) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in the ACT is 250 kg (551 lb).
(c) Make sure that the fuel quantity in the center tank is less than 5000 kg (11023 lb).
(5) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door for access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(6) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the left MLG bay.
(7) If applicable, in the cockpit, on refuel control-panel 51VU:
(a) Push the pushbutton switch PWR (23QU) to ON (cockpit refuel select).
(b) Make sure that the ON legend in the pushbutton switch comes on.
(c) Make sure that the FAULT legend in the pushbutton switch is off.
(8) Do the test of the high-level sensing system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-00-710-001).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4) On the ECAM control panel, push FUEL pushbutton switch.
(5) On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU), the FUEL page comes into view:
(a) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in the ACT FWD is 250 kg (551 lb).
(b) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in ACT AFT1 and ACT AFT2 is 250 kg (551 lb) in each installed ACT.
(c) Make sure that the fuel quantity in the center tank is less than 5000 kg (11023 lb).
(6) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door for access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(7) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the left MLG bay.
Subtask 28-28-00-865-123-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4) On the ECAM control panel, push FUEL pushbutton switch.
(5) On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU), the FUEL page comes into view:
(a) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in the ACT FWD is 250 kg (551 lb).
(b) Make sure that the minimum fuel quantity in ACT AFT1 and ACT AFT2 is 250 kg (551 lb) in each installed ACT.
(c) Make sure that the fuel quantity in the center tank is less than 5000 kg (11023 lb).
(6) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door for access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(7) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the left MLG bay.

5. Close-upNOTE: If the ACT transfer pump does not work correctly during this test, it is necessary to do the priming of the ACT transfer pump (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-002) and do this test again.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the left MLG door after access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
(6) If applicable, in the cockpit, on refuel control-panel 51VU:
(a) Push and release the pushbutton switch PWR (23QU).
(b) Make sure that the ON legend in the pushbutton switch goes off.
(7) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 28-28-00-860-191-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the left MLG door after access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
(6) If applicable, in the cockpit, on refuel control-panel 51VU:
(a) Push and release the pushbutton switch PWR (23QU).
(b) Make sure that the ON legend in the pushbutton switch goes off.
(7) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
