A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(4) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.

Subtask 28-28-00-010-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the integrated impact wall from the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable ACT from the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable ACT(s) from the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Remove ACT AFT 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003).
(b) Remove ACT AFT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-002).

4. Procedure

A. Inspection
(1) Do the special detailed inspection of the ACT external surface, in area of tank plate profiles, refer to NTM 282803.

5. Close-up
Subtask 28-28-00-410-073-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Install the ACT in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(2) Install the integrated impact wall (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-49-400-001).

Subtask 28-28-00-410-101-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Install the applicable ACT(s) in the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Install ACT AFT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-002).
(b) Install ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-003).

Subtask 28-28-00-860-159-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
