A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Remove the Additional Center Tank (ACT) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
(3) Make sure that all the surfaces of the ACT can be visually inspected.
Subtask 28-28-00-860-070-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Remove the Additional Center Tank (ACT) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
(3) Make sure that all the surfaces of the ACT can be visually inspected.
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Remove the ACT(s) from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).

(2) Remove the ACT(s) from the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
NOTE: If you must do an inspection on the forward ACT (ACT1), then remove both ACT(s) from the aft cargo-compartment.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Remove the applicable ACT(s) from the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Remove ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003)
(b) Remove ACT AFT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Remove the applicable ACT(s) from the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Remove ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003)
(b) Remove ACT AFT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-002).

A. Detailed Visual Inspection of ACT
(2) Examine the fasteners and attachment parts, to make sure they are not loose or damaged.
(3) Examine all the ports, openings and rivets for signs of leakage.

Subtask 28-28-00-210-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The applicable CMM task for the examination of the ACT Structure also obeys this inspection task.
(1) Examine the external rib structure of the ACT for cracks, corrosion and other damage. (2) Examine the fasteners and attachment parts, to make sure they are not loose or damaged.
(3) Examine all the ports, openings and rivets for signs of leakage.
NOTE: Cracks or other damages are not permitted.
(4) Limits for found scratches and dents on the ACT structure are given in the applicable B. Detailed Visual Inspection of the ACT(s)

(4) Examine the vent tube and the fuel tube of the ACT for scratches and dents:
1 Remove the scratches with the depth of 0.2 MM (0.0079 IN.) and the maximum length of 50 MM (1.9685 IN.) of the nominal material thickness.
5. Close-upNOTE: The subsequent procedure is the same for all the ACT(s). Thus, only one ACT is given.
(1) Examine the external rib structure of the ACT for cracks, corrosion and other damage. NOTE: Cracks or other damages are not permitted.
(2) Examine the fasteners and the attached parts, to make sure that they are not loose or damaged. (3) Examine all the ports, openings and rivets for signs of leakage.
(4) Examine the vent tube and the fuel tube of the ACT for scratches and dents:
NOTE: The maximum permitted depth of the dents on the ACT structure is 2.0 MM (0.0787 IN.).
(a) Scratches on the vent tube and the fuel tube of the ACT are not permitted, if there are scratches:1 Remove the scratches with the depth of 0.2 MM (0.0079 IN.) and the maximum length of 50 MM (1.9685 IN.) of the nominal material thickness.

(1) Install the ACT(s) in the aft cargo-compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).

B. Close Access
