Subtask 28-26-00-941-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
Subtask 28-26-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On the ECAM control panel (CP), push (in) the FUEL push icon switch.
   (4) Make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower display unit (DU).
   (5) Open the access door 192MB.
   (6) Refuel (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003), defuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or transfer fuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001) to get these fuel levels:
  • wing tanks less than 5000 kg (11023 lb)
  • center tank more than 250 kg (551 lb).
   (7) On the refuel/defuel panel 800VU, lift the guard and put the MODE SELECT switch to the REFUEL position.
   (8) On the ECAM upper DU, make sure that no FUEL caution messages are shown.
   (9) On the panel 40VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches (P/BSWs) are set as follows:
  • CTR TK MODE SEL released out, MAN
  • L TK PUMPS 1 and 2 released out, OFF
  • R TK PUMPS 1 and 2 released out, OFF
  • CTR TK L XFR and CTR TK R XFR released out, OFF
  • X FEED released out, all lights off.
4. Procedure
WARNING: WHEN YOU OPERATE THE FUEL PUMPS DURING A MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE, A MAINTENANCE PERSON MUST BE IN THE COCKPIT. THIS PERSON MUST STOP THE PUMPS WHEN THE LOW PRESSURE FAULT LIGHT(S) (ON PANEL 40VU) COME ON, TO PREVENT OPERATION OF THE PUMPS(S) WITHOUT FUEL ('DRY RUNNING'). OPERATION OF THE PUMPS WITHOUT FUEL CAN CAUSE A FIRE.
Subtask 28-26-00-720-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Functional Test of the FUEL AUTO TRANSFER FAULT of the Main Transfer System
   (1) Do the test that follows:
ACTION
