MAKE SURE THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL SAFETY-LOCKS AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 28-25-58-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
B. Installation of the Refuel Panel 801VU
(1) Remove the blanking caps.
(2) Apply a thin layer of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the refuel panel (2) and the instrument rack.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the refuel panel (2).
(4) Put the refuel panel (2) in position on the instrument rack.
(5) Lock the fasteners (3).
Subtask 28-25-58-420-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking caps.
(2) Apply a thin layer of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the refuel panel (2) and the instrument rack.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the refuel panel (2).
(4) Put the refuel panel (2) in position on the instrument rack.
(5) Lock the fasteners (3).
B. Installation of Refuel Panel 801VU
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Apply a thin layer of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the refuel panel (2) and the instrument rack.
(7) Put the refuel panel (2) in position on the instrument rack.
(8) Lock the fasteners (3).
Subtask 28-25-58-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE COMPONENT DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO COMPONENT.
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.(5) Apply a thin layer of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the mating surface of the refuel panel (2) and the instrument rack.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(6) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the refuel panel (2). (7) Put the refuel panel (2) in position on the instrument rack.
(8) Lock the fasteners (3).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(2) Close access door 192MB.

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) On refuel/defuel control panel 800VU, on fuel control panel 40VU:
(a) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 28-25-58-410-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) On refuel/defuel control panel 800VU, on fuel control panel 40VU:
(a) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 622KB.
