A. Make sure that on the refuel/defuel control panel 800VU:

the REFUEL switch is in the OFF position,
the OPEN light is off.

C. Get Access
(1) Open the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Open the access door 192MB to get access to the refuel/defuel panel 800VU.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the main landing-gear door.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-25-53-020-052-A

A. Removal of the Defuel/Transfer Valve-Actuator (11QU)
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the defuel/transfer valve-actuator (5).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Release the screw and remove the V-clamp (3) which attaches the defuel/transfer valve-actuator (5) to the mounting flange (1).
(4) Remove the defuel/transfer valve-actuator (5).
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (2) from the mounting flange (1).
(6) Put a blanking cap on the mounting flange (1) and on the defuel/transfer valve actuator (5).
