A. Safety Precautions
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.
Subtask 28-25-51-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.

C. Get Access
(2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the left MLG-door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 148.
(4) If installed, remove the protective cover for the ACT-equipment support door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
Subtask 28-25-51-010-056-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
(1) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001). (2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the left MLG-door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 148.
(4) If installed, remove the protective cover for the ACT-equipment support door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
C. Get Access
(2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the left MLG-door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 147.
(4) Remove the access cover 147AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
4. ProcedureWARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
(1) Open the left Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001). (2) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the left MLG-door actuating-cylinder.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 147.
(4) Remove the access cover 147AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
Subtask 28-25-51-020-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Refuel Valve 41QU
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the nut (4), washer (5), screw (7) and washer (8).
(4) Disconnect the bonding strap (1).
(5) Remove the nuts (3).
(6) Put a suitable BOLT - AN3 or BOLT - NAS 1801 or BOLT - DIA 10-32UNF X 1.25 IN. LENGTH in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (2).
(7) Tighten each bolt in sequence to loosen the refuel valve (2) from the canister.
(8) Carefully remove the refuel valve (2).
(9) Remove the extractor bolts.
(10) Remove and discard the O-ring (9).
Subtask 28-25-51-020-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6). (2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the nut (4), washer (5), screw (7) and washer (8).
(4) Disconnect the bonding strap (1).
(5) Remove the nuts (3).
(6) Put a suitable BOLT - AN3 or BOLT - NAS 1801 or BOLT - DIA 10-32UNF X 1.25 IN. LENGTH in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (2).
(7) Tighten each bolt in sequence to loosen the refuel valve (2) from the canister.
(8) Carefully remove the refuel valve (2).
(9) Remove the extractor bolts.
(10) Remove and discard the O-ring (9).
A. Removal of Refuel Valve 41QU
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the nut (4), the screw (6) and the washer (7).
(4) Disconnect the bonding lead (1).
(5) Remove the nuts (3).
(6) Put an applicable BOLT - AN3 or BOLT - NAS 1801 or BOLT - DIA 10-32UNF X 1.25 IN. LENGTH in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (2).
(7) Tighten each bolt in sequence to loosen the refuel valve (2) from the canister.
(8) Carefully remove the refuel valve (2).
(9) Remove the extractor bolts.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (5). (2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the nut (4), the screw (6) and the washer (7).
(4) Disconnect the bonding lead (1).
(5) Remove the nuts (3).
(6) Put an applicable BOLT - AN3 or BOLT - NAS 1801 or BOLT - DIA 10-32UNF X 1.25 IN. LENGTH in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (2).
(7) Tighten each bolt in sequence to loosen the refuel valve (2) from the canister.
(8) Carefully remove the refuel valve (2).
(9) Remove the extractor bolts.
