Removal of the Solenoid Valve
WARNING:

A. Safety Precautions
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the main gear doors.
Subtask 28-25-51-010-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the main gear doors.
B. Get Access
(1) For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 10QU:
(a) Open the main gear doors and install the safety devices (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(b) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the refuel valve 10QU.
(2) For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 7QU (8QU):
(a) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(b) Remove the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(3) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the refuel valve.
Subtask 28-25-51-010-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 10QU:
(a) Open the main gear doors and install the safety devices (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(b) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the refuel valve 10QU.
(2) For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 7QU (8QU):
(a) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(b) Remove the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(3) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the refuel valve.
B. Get Access
(1) For the solenoid valve of refuel valve 41QU:
(a) Open the MLG doors and install the safety devices (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(b) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position at zone 148.
(c) Remove the protective cover from the ACT-equipment support door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(2) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the refuel valve.
4. Procedure(1) For the solenoid valve of refuel valve 41QU:
(a) Open the MLG doors and install the safety devices (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(b) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position at zone 148.
(c) Remove the protective cover from the ACT-equipment support door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(2) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the refuel valve.

A. Removal of the Solenoid Valve
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(4) Remove the solenoid valve (4) from the refuel valve (7).
(5) Remove and discard the O-rings (5) and (6).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(4) Remove the solenoid valve (4) from the refuel valve (7).
(5) Remove and discard the O-rings (5) and (6).
