   (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position, below access panel 522JB (622JB).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panel:

     (a) FOR [7QU] (VALVE-REFUEL, L WING TK)
remove 522JB

     (b) FOR [8QU] (VALVE-REFUEL, R WING TK)
remove 622JB.
   (3) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the refuel valve.
4. Procedure
Subtask 28-25-51-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Refuel Valve 7QU, (8QU)
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Remove the nut (7) and the screw (6). Disconnect the bonding strap (4).
   (4) Remove the nuts (2).
   (5) Put a suitable BOLT - AN3 or BOLT - NAS 1801 or BOLT - DIA 10-32UNF X 1.25 IN. LENGTH in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (3).
   (6) Tighten the bolts to loosen the refuel valve (3) from the canister.
   (7) Carefully remove the valve (3).
   (8) Remove the extractor bolts.
   (9) Remove and discard the O-ring (5).
